Milk – a Silent Killer

John J. Miller, Ph.D., who has done extensive research on the cataract problem, says, “When milk was produced by the family cow for our ancestors, and used as a whole unmodified food, the problem was not so serious. But through development of the cheese industry, the promotion of yogurt, the evaporated milk programme, and the powdered milk business, the concentration of galactose in our daily diet has mark- edly increased.”
